Telling the truth about God’s love in community.
God made the whole world and called all of creation good. God loves creation, God loves us. This is the truth. We tell this truth in the face of our forgetting. We forget that God created all people as equal. We tell the truth so that we will remember our goodness and God’s love for us.
Tell Me About The Dream is a resource for congregations, organizations, families, and individuals that empowers communities to tell the truth about racism and injustice through the lens of the Christian faith. We invite churches and people of faith to denounce human hierarchies that tell us that one thing is better or worse than any other thing for any reason.
We know that the lie of racism is a systemic and personal issue that must be confronted. We believe that telling the truth is the first step towards creating change that will transform our world to make real the dream God has for all of creation.
Our Curriculum
We offer Montessori-style stories that invite people of all ages into powerful wondering about the lies we are told about human-designed hierarchy. Because these topics can be challenging we provide training for leaders who wish to implement our resources in their local context.
